Saving the best for last, perfect clean waves at Bordeira with Surf Guide Algarve
Eventually your last day of your surf trip will come. Of course there will be more waves, and obviously you will be back. But somehow the last session always feels a little bit like the closeout surf. You expect a bit too much from your already tired arms. Mother ocean does often not really show her most pretty side on the final day either. Today we break the curse do. While the forecast showed the whole week that today is going to be a tricky one, the wind turns in our favour and we score. Surf Guide Algarve saving the best for last. Scoring perfect clean waves at Bordeira with no one else around.
So nice to sea you again
Bordeira with her super cute little village Carrapateira right next to it, is always special. In the first place there is the amazing view all the way towards Arrifana from the parking place. Then there are the waves. Basically this place is like a swell magnet. It just simply catches every single bit of ocean power that is out there. As a result we have not beed here most of the winter. But it is so nice to sea you again.
The famous last wave
Our second Surf Guide Algarve guest literally drives 2 times 40 minutes for a surf session of maximum 30 minutes. However he said he would have driven the distance two times for the incredible waves that he had.
The waves are indeed pretty much perfect. Lefts, rights, some power but enough time to do some turns. Enough waves to keep the flow going, but no crazy paddle. Just perfect surf. After a good two hour plus surf the Surf Guide takes a long left in and swaps the surfboard for the camera. In the hope to catch the famous last wave of our -First ever- Surf Guide Algarve guest.
