Magical moments surfing zavial with Surf Guide Algarve
Have you seen the movie September Sessions? Its one of the best. By now it almost classifies as a classic, but the surfing in it will still stand out today. What is most special about this movie is the soundtracks linking the movie together. Even if you just put on the tracks without the images it will makes you want to go surfing. *Or maybe that is only what happens if you see the movie a million times. September it is. And so we surf. Just like any other month but with a little more magic. The days getting shorter, and the swell more consistent. We get some magical moments surfing Zavial with the whole Surf Guide Algarve crew and some of our guests.
Clean surf is the best
When all the stars are in line, you get clean surf. This does not happen every day in the Algarve. In fact, it is pretty rare to have very clean conditions over here. But with the right wind and a nice bit of leftover swell from the hurricane we get super fun clean conditions.
The two dudes in the pictures above have gone trough a lot to get here. In surfing you have to dedicate a lot of afford and time to get somewhere. In this case, down the line on a clean bit of moving salt water. The feeling it creates is hard to describe. But all of a sudden it all makes sense again.
Today is a little bit extra special. Miss and princess Surf Guide Algarve come to the beach as well.
