Pure Magic Surfing under a double rainbow with Surf Guide Algarve
Opposite to what most people think about this wintery weather that keeps ruling the forecast, we love it. Actually it feels like the reversed Indian summer for surfers. Rain pared with good wind directions and even better waves are the story of the day. Surf Guide Algarve is on a roll. Scoring fun waves shared with an epic crew, if its up to us this winter never ends. As been mentioned before, every session is special for some reason. Waves, people, maybe sealife, there is a lot that can make a surf special. Today we get the whole package. Pure magic surfing under a double rainbow, in absolutely incredible waves.
Just get better
Obviously when you surfing a lot you will get better in time. Reading the ocean and positioning are two key points that are mainly gained with time in the water. Yet for all the other things a coach can be super helpful. Surf Guide Algarve knows a couple of guys that can help you progress based on your needs and level. More magic
During the rainbow session we are joined by both our all time vip-guest and Gibson jr, the shaper. So what are we riding? Anything works in these conditions really. Walking down with a midlength, a fish and a shorboard, last two shaped by Gibson. Mr midlength catches the wave of the day and rides it with style. Whenever the rain reaches us, that gave us the rainbows, the wind turns evil and the session is done. Stoked and very satisfied we cut the session short and finish this epic morning.
