The story only gets better with Surf Guide Algarve
Meanwhile we experiencing the heaviest winter the Algarve has seen in decades. Low pressure systems coming and going and swell is blasting the coastline almost non stop. Obviously thats not all bad. Obviously when you book your holiday in march hoping to catch some sun, its not the best timing. But we surfers get wet anyway! Surf Guide Algarve is ready in any weather. Talk surfboards and big news
While a professional surfer will surf better on the back of a cooler box* then most other surfers on normal boards. *Italo learned surfing like this. Surfboards are the only thing that is in between us and the waves. Add to this that a good surfboard will not make you a better surfer, but a good surfboard can indeed make your surf experience much better. Over the years as a surf guide and long before I have the chance to surf many different boards. Obviously I am not the best surfer in the world, but I know really well what I like and do not like on a board and can also explain why. Surfing every day in all sorts of conditions, this made me a good test-driver for the guys at Gibson Surfboards. Who may seem new in the Algarve, but have a very long shaping history back in California.



Some more shared stokes
As been mentioned before, shared stokes are the best stokes. Armed with two really colourful boards and a fun looking forecast its even hard to wait for the next day. Surf Guide Algarve is joined by a new guest *who surfed the Abu Dabi surf pool last week – why not? Plus a VIP who is keen to challenge himself a little bit. No one out, powerful waves with some real barrels for those who are ready. Beliche definetly not the easiest spot in the region but once you get a good one it really pays off. Good waves and bad wipe-outs all get cheered on and we all have an incredible surf.
