Small waves please, dreams come true with surf guide algarve
Imagine you have two sons, both with some surf experience but not what you call ‘surfers‘. You on the other hand live for this crazy salt water obsession. Than one day with a beautiful sunrise you share small perfect waves with them, with no one else around. Altogether a dream just came true. Dawn Patrol
Usually surf guide algarve likes to strike early. Where most other surfers need a bit more time to find the best spot we are already in the water. Often the carpark fills up when we get out the water. Plus, there is something magic about catching your first waves while the world is waking up. Clouds turn all crazy colours while the sun climbs over the hills. We love the dawn patrol.
West- or South- Coast
As been mentioned before, the Algarve almost works as an island. West-Coast usually picks up more swell. At the the same time, it all comes down to the swell and wind on the day. Opposite to the rule, the day we surf these perfect baby waves in Cordoama the South Coast is much bigger *but onshore and not nice. Only a few days later the wind turns and we get a super fun friendly session at Burgau on the South coast.
