Surf Guide Algarve scoring golden waves on the South and West coast
Whenever the east wind blows this means a couple of things. First and foremost it means it is offshore on the west coast. Second, there will be south swell on the south coast. Surf Guide Algarve scoring best of both worlds. Starting on the *much bigger, West coast for some serious open ocean powerful waves. Followed up with a much more user friendly, but absolutely beautiful, small wave on the south coast the next morning. Scoring golden waves, enjoy the full story and especially the pictures.
If in doubt do not paddle out
Overall it is the job of Surf Guide Algarve to bring the guest or guests to the best beach for their surfing level. In reality the waves can turn out to be a lot different than forecasted. for sure in the Algarve, *that is probably also why the guiding thing works. Quite a bit of energy in the ocean we already go to a spot a little more protected then the real open beach breaks. Once we arrive on the beach it shows to be bigger then forecasted. At the same time we know the waves will be a little easier with more water so one of the crew decides to wait a little bit and paddle out later. When not surfing whats better then take pictures and mindsurf? Here is the result. Later the middle gets better and she gets a couple of fun ones herself.
Golden hour
As been said many times before, there is something magical about the start of the day. Sunrise, birds chirping, the smell of coffee, you name it, and it is all beautiful. Especially if the waves look like this. Now that our shoulders are pretty spend from the bigger day yesterday it is really nice to have some more mellow waves. South Coast swell often is a lot less powerful due to the low period. Yet that also means there are a lot more waves to be ridden! Meanwhile it is already the last surf for one of the crew, but he makes sure it is one to remember. Catching more waves then anyone and still making sure he is on the best one all the time.
