Surf Guide Algarve scoring fun waves at Praia Castelejo
‘Maybe Castelejo is my favorite beach‘ mentions one of the Surf Guide Algarve crew as we walk on the beach checking the empty line-up. In essence, every beach in the Algarve is beautiful in its own way. Obviously the rock formation on the right makes for a real spectacular backdrop. Castelejo also functions as our extended backyard. Exactly four minutes driving from Vila do Bispo, if there are no sheep, goat or cows on the road. We scoring fun waves two days in a row, enjoy the full story.
Better be prepared
While most people only go for a week or maybe ten days, some take a little different approach. One of our vip- surf guide algarve guests mostly staying for a month *or longer. Prior to her trip she paddle trains in a lake and uses the surfskate a lot to keep the momentum going. Talking about dedication. Hard work pays off, from day one she is getting the best waves of the session.
Go hard or stay home
As long as you keep it safe a slogan to keep in your head while paddling out. Usually we surf beach breaks anyway and if you fall, it is all water, right? Altogether you do not get the chance to practice what you dream to do all that often. Mother ocean just gives you a few tries every session, better make most of it. As can be seen on the pictures the second day Catselejo is a fair bit bigger. No one out, favorite wind, lets go hard!
