Happiness comes in waves with Surf Guide Algarve at Praia Arrifana
As been mentioned before, summer is not the best time of the year when it comes down to surfing. Surely there is always the exception on the rule and we have waves almost every day. Where other places just go flat, we will always have at least a few options to find some waves. Usually Surf Guide Algarve prefers an empty, less quality wave, over a crowded quote on quote ‘good wave‘. In the middle of a couple of pretty challenging days its time to break that rule. We set our alarms and set sail for Praia Arrifana. Overall one of the most crowded places in the region, but for good reason. Luckily we get in the water while most others still in bed or at the breakfast buffets. Instantly we realise it is worth the drive. Beautiful clean lines roll in the bay and a really fun surf session is a fact. Happiness just comes in waves, enjoy the story!
Hit and run
By the time the surf schools and other surfers make their way out into the lineup its time to go. Altogether we surf for almost two hours and score some pretty epic waves for summer standards. Lefts and rights, both with plenty of time to really work on our moves. Arrifana did it again, stoked. During our walk up to the car we bump into a friend who puts our session down in a few nice words, a real nice hit and run.
