Opposite to the winter the waves usually have not so much energy and we surf mainly on the West Coast. Located so far on the tip of Portugal, the Algarve really works like an island. To sum up, the wind is offshore, the water is incredibly blue, the sun is shining and there are fun waves for all level surfers. What more can you ask for? Whenever you surfed in the Algarve before you might know the answer: An ocean that is not freezing cold. With the new swell filling in the temperature of the water really drops a lot. While the outside temperature is nice and warm, the ocean feels like an ice-bath. Small price to pay for waves like this.
