Surf Guide Algarve saving the best for last, surfer girl edition
whenever you start and finish with a bang, it does not really matter what happens in between. Although I am not sure who quoted this first, it does make a lot of sense. Usually the first surf session together with new Surf Guide Algarve guests is somewhat exciting. When you stay a week the chance is fair you will get a mix of surf sessions. Obviously the conditions will change but so do you. As soon as you are used to the cold and usually powerful Algarve waves you will get more in flow with the ocean. Where the first surf is often a bit of a try out, every wave is a bonus, the sessions after people really click into gear. Since a holiday is only short the arms will burn after day 3 and the shorter nights plus a diet of super bock and Pastel da Nata also does not help. By the time the final surf session approaches its epic if the forecast shows the green light. Surf Guide Algarve saving the best for last (again) Surfer girl edition.
Who needs sunshine anyway
Up there is a picture of one of our surfer girls in action on a nice long right. Immediately you will notice the hood and booties, in July? In the first place, she is taking the keeping warm thing a little extra serious. But to be honest, we have a very strange summer week. Usually the Algarve in summer is bright blue skies, where we even get some rain this week! Everything is green and the place looks incredible. Luckily we have waves, and thats all that really counts. Who needs sunshine anyway…
Surfer girls earn it to own it
Quickly we realise these are not your average good weather surfer girls. These chicks are serious about catching waves. Whenever the wind picks up and turning the waves into a complete one of the girls just comes in to ask if I am okay and if she can catch a few more. Quickly swap the surfboard for the camera and make sure that if she does find a wave it will be on photo. In essence they just deserve the last day to be epic, and it is. Surfer girls earn it to own it, glassy waves, no one out, lets go!
