Surf Guide Algarve Private Beach Surfing adventures on the West-Coast
By the time easter is over, most of the crew that stay for the winter months leave the Algarve. Generally the prices of basically everything go up as summer approaches. To conclude, summer season is starting. Surf schools are getting busy, restaurants are full yet the surf is empty? Of course there are thousands of people in the region to surf. Different from the winter months, most of these are in surf schools. In general al beginners and all leaving at the same time. Meanwhile Surf Guide Algarve surfing pretty much private beaches on the West-Coast. Enjoy the story of two of our surfing adventures.
As good as it gets
As soon as one of our VIP Surf Guide Algarve guests is recovered from his Jetlack from the Maldives he is back for more action. Overall the forecast looks pretty good, for Algarve standards. Balanced against the Maldives no wave really will be good again I think. On the contrary the dude is stoked! It is so good to be back home, you can not imagine.‘ Yes the Maldives is crazy, but nothing beats waves right in your backyard with the right crew to share it with.‘ ‘This is as good as it gets.‘ – Wow!‘
No Luck, All Hussle
Together with a good forecast this is a great first session back in the Algarve waters. Sooner than later the forecast turns for the worse. Small swell with onshore wind, making the surf a challenge. Surely at the right tide and place there must be a nice little wave somewhere? Despite the challenging forecast we set sail for Cordoama and score an empty beach with super fun waves. No luck, all hussle!
