In time we forget many things. On the other hand, you will never forget your first time. A long time ago, we think 7 years, I come walking out of the water at Tonel. Stoked as always, with my lady on my side who happened to snap a few nice pictures of the surf. Two guys rock up at the parking where I just get out of my wetsuit. Clearly bummed they missed the good session we talk a bit and one of them asks if I would be down to show them the best spot for the next day. This is in short how Surf Guide Algarve is born. Even though these guys probably know the region pretty well by now they keep coming back every year. *sometimes multiple times. Its incredible to share the stokes with these dudes and its epic to have good waves while they are here. The OG Surf Guide Algarve Crew shredding winter waves in summer sun.
Epic surf pictures
Obviously you can get a professional photographer to join us for a session. We did this many times in the past. The guys know exactly how to get the best shot and wont miss a single wave. That being said, this is only one session and everything has to come together at that moment. To ensure epic surf pictures on this trip the guys take a huge camera with them. Taking turns shooting fotos and carrying the 5kg heavy lens.
Surfskate session
Surf Guide Algarve does not coach, but he knows a couple of really good ones. For the simple reason that you can try the same move a million times over on the surfskate, this is in our opinion the best way to improve your surfing. Secondly its just a super fun way to spend the afternoon. Our friend explains us exactly what to do to go even harder the next day. Thanks dude!
