Perfect waves at Cabanas Velhas with Surf Guide Algarve and the Berlin crew
As been mentioned before, it is easy to find surf on the more obvious beaches. Therefore there are always more people on those spots. Surf Guide Algarve thinks out of the box and will always try to find the best conditions for the crew on board. Today we are joined by two very well traveled dudes from Berlin. For one thing, the forecast is looking very tricky. Mixing swells and a big moon, meaning a huge tidal difference. We score perfect waves at a beach that only works a few days a year. Perfect waves
Despite the pretty perfect waves in the Surf Guide Algarve blogs, the waves in this region never stay perfect for a long time. As soon as the wind turns onshore, the tide fills in too much / or get too low, its all over. Although this may sound a little negative, if you time your surf session well, it is all you can ask for. Today we surf for about two hours with probably 90 minutes of very good quality waves.
Pick up service
Generally Surf Guide Algarve picks up the surfers, bring you to the beach and surf, and drop you back home. In this case the Berlin boys pick up the guide. Since our second car decided to not start after our holiday. Very stoked with todays adventure.
