Calculated luck, sharing Epic Waves with Surf Guide Algarve
Even if you know a beach like the back of your hand and study the forecast every day, there is always a little surprise factor. For the most part the Algarve surf spots are beach breaks. For this reason it is impossible to say a certain spot is always good on a specific tide. In fact, this can change in a few days time. Surf Guide Algarve likes to use the term, calculated luck. Firstly we do everything to predict the best waves for your surf level. Afterward it is on mother ocean to show us her mood that day. Eventually we haring some epic waves with even more epic people. West Coast perfection
Surprisingly, the West Coast of Portugal almost always has waves. While this may be true, many days are far from perfect. Too big, a lot of onshore wind, wrong tide, just to name a few reasons. When everything comes together and you know where to go the West-Coast can be surfing heaven. In contrast of the South Coast, the spots are very spread out. For this reason it is often possible to find a peak just for the Surf Guide crew alone.
Zavial time
As been mentioned above, the South-Coast clusters the surfers a little more on top of each other. Obviously Surf Guide Algarve hits the water on a little different time than most others. As much as we love the west, Zavial has a special place in our hart. Waves always a little more blue, water a little more calm, sessions just a little bit different.
