A very special session at Cabanas Velhas with Surf Guide Algarve
Sometimes everything just comes together, certainly one of the most fun sessions in a little while. Unlike a few years ago, miss Surf Guide Algarve almost never has the chance to join the adventures. Work takes a good part of the beach time away, and than there is obviously the little princess. Plenty of beach time, but just missing out on the good old surf adventures. Now the grandparents are visiting and they insist it is not a problem if we both shoot out for a few hours for a fun surf session. Meanwhile the Surf Guide Algarve VIP crew is preparing to join the session and a very special session at Cabanas Velhas is the result.
Private Beach
Cabanas Velhas often gets overlooked, as a result we get the beach completely for ourselves. Miss Surf Guide Algarve finds a nice spot in the sun and decides she has more fun shooting our waves than paddle out herself. Waves breaking fairly close to the rocky shore and although the waves are not big, there is plenty of push behind them. Short punchy rights and a little longer more mellow left hand waves. Especially our goofy footed friend is very happy with the lefts.
It simply does not get better
Wave after wave, we get to know the short punchy waves better and better. Occasionally there is a little bigger one popping up, hooting for each others waves and just going all out.
