Sharing (a lot) of moving Salt water on the West Coast with Surf Guide Algarve
Joined by two rippers from total different parts of the world, the Surf Guide Algarve crew is ready to take on some more serious waves. The one dude from Santa Cruz California is already blown away by the whole scene. The Algarve coast is just stunning, even when you dont surf a single wave. Our Scottish friend is more familiar with dramatic backdrops but is stoked to see good size swell lines bending in.
We had a blood moon two nights ago, so this results in the most crazy tidal differences now. There is a lot of moving salt water right now. No easy surf conditions! But good fun!
Experienced surfers only
Our goal is pretty straight forward. We try to bring you to the best waves possible for your surf level.
Not always is everyone perfectly honest (even to themselves) about their surf experience. This might be a little bit to do with ego. Or just the simple fact that you really do feel like Kelly Slater when you have that perfect wave in a session. That´s the feeling we are all after. But in the meantime keep honest to whats safe and what is maybe a little out of your range. The spot today with the conditions on hand is experienced surfers only. There are a handful surfers out, all knowing exactly what they doing and respecting the ocean (and each other.)
How to book
As soon as you have figured out your dates. Send us an email or whatsapp. Then you book flights and accomodation. The further you can book in advance the better chance there is we can go on surf adventures together.
Surf Guide Algarve takes a max of 3 surfers to the line up. But often times its just 1 or two. We do not like to mix the levels. The first one who books has priority. So if the second surfer is on another level the first level has priority. Obviously a experienced surfer can have a lot of fun in smaller surf too but you get the picture.
