My whole life I hear this question: Oh you´re from the Netherlands, is there any surf there? Now it is my turn to ask that same question. A group of 3 friends is on their mission to do the ultimate Euro trip. Surf is high on their priority list and in Portugal it needs to happen. They get in touch trough the local surfshop Jahshaka and on the Surf Guide Algarve mission. Small mellow waves request. The boys are from Lake Michigan and apparently they do get surf there. Zavial looks good on the forecast. Lets go!

If there is an award for most stoked persons on the Surf Guide Algarve tour I would like to hand it to these guys. The wind is blowing offshore. The sun is shining and there is a waist high wave rolling in. These dudes are just loosing it.

We surf for hours. When the tide finally redraws so much and the surf schools have finally taken their spots in the sand, we call it for the day. Arms like spagetti, salty dry mouths, ready for: A pastel da Nata!
