The tricky part about this time of year is that weather-wise absolutely anything is possible. The one day we walk around in our board shorts and planning BBQ’s. The next day we preparing slow cooked stew from the left over BBQ meat and have to make sure the windows are all closed before they blow out.

If that wind comes, there’s a few other things to do as well…

Mother Nature will always have the last say.

Its understandable that when you live somewhere where the surf is less consistent, or not existing at all, you like to plan your surf trip in periods that are (kind of) wave guaranteed. This means that the winter months we receive quite a bit of surf tourists and everyone knows how things go down in summer… This time of year seems to be pretty quiet. And we don’t mind.

April Fools
And of course, when Easter is on its way and people starting to plan their well deserved spring-holidays the weather turns into sh*t (excuse my language, but that’s just what we’re getting.) On the up side of things, with that wind and rain there will be a lot of swell so it will be my mission to find that surf able wave and make this \aster epic as the days that we just had.
