Isn’t a Surfguide without a car like a surfboard without fins? Well at least you could surf an Alaia I suppose…
Anyway it’s been challenging not having our own wheels and still find ways to Guide. The local surfschool Extreme Algarve has been extremely kind borrowing the van when they could miss one. And one of our guests has become a true friend (in no-time actually). These days I have been guiding him and he has been driving me around…
Normally we stick to the triangle Lagos-Aljezur-Sagres, but on this occasion we went a little further for a surf.
If we would have had wings we wouldn’t have been faster. My mate was flying over the tollroad to get just enough time to buy his new board and squeeze in a quick surf. He got the board, we got nice Portuguese lunch and we also got some really fun waves on one of the many surfspots Lisbon has to offer.
Now my new buddy is a dude with brains and has a lot of knowledge about the SEO marketing. When I finished my communication and marketing bachelor in the year 1900 that word wasn’t even invented, and if it was I haven’t remembered any of it. Anyhow he’s gonna help me boosting my website and boosting Surfguide Algarve! Now our van is álmost ready, the waves are pumping, the time is now – Let’s get serious!!
